Our Courses
Thank you for stopping by our page! The Tech Team Department wants you and all your colleagues to collect Team Player Pins, by working together as a Department to polish your Four Marks of Distinction. Completion of each mini-Course brings each Department closer to earning their Pins. Here are our courses, which show how to earn each Mark of Distinction:
Create A Department Page. Main goals: Departments assemble a publicly-visible page that should include member names, a department "selfie" pic, and a brief "sketch" of each course, featuring photos of major student activities. Major projects/activities (see photos): At least one member must serve as Editor, approving posts to the shared page. This avoids "concurrency" problems, where one person's updates can wipe out someone else's. All Department members are invited to take photos and key in text for approval. Helpful preparation: "Creating a Department Template" (lab exercise). |
A determined Tech Team member (Helen Ahn) goes to work creating a Template for one of the Departments. |
A good-hearted soul (our librarian, Susan McRoberts!) volunteers to assist the Admin Team with their Pages. |
