Connect to District Wi-Fi
The vast majority of current laptops and mobile devices have built-in Wi-Fi support that allow you to connect to the District’s wireless network for Internet access. Our wireless network requires authentication, and options are provided for District-owned and personal devices. Below you will find instructions for each of these options.
Student Login With a Personal Tablet, Laptop, or Phone
If you are a student wanting to connect your personal device to the District’s wireless network:
- Go to the Wireless settings on your device, and choose the LBUSD-WEB WiFi network.
- Open the web browser on your device.
- You will see a login screen where you should enter your normal LBUSD network ID and password. Once you have logged in successfully, your device will have Internet access via the LBUSD-WEB Wi-Fi network.
District-Owned Laptops
If you are using a District-owned laptop device:
- Your District-owned device can (and should) be configured by Technology & Information Services to automatically connect to the District wireless network whenever the device is turned on and in range of the wireless system.
- If you are having trouble with the WiFi on your laptop, ask your teacher for help.
