Lab: College Board & Khan Academy Signups

Earn Your Reward (4 Challenges)

Directions:  Have your teacher sign on the sheet provided, as you provide proof that you completed each of the following steps (click on the bold blue links for directions).  Submit the sheet with all four signatures to your teacher when finished. 

1)  Record Username & Password for Both Khan and College Board and Save in a Safe Place.  

     Prove that you did this, for a signature!:

1. Write info on handout provided (or in your planner).
2. Show your teacher the written information.

2)  Create A Khan Academy Account.

     Prove that you did this, for a signature!:

1. Open the Khan Academy login page in a new tab.  
2. Log in, if necessary.
3. After your Dashboard page loads, show the teacher your name in the upper righthand corner.

3)  Create A College Board Account.

     Prove that you did this, for a signature!:

1. Open the College Board login page in a new tab.  Sign in, if necessary.
2. Click the round "user" icon  in the upper right-hand corner of the page.
3. Choose "My Plan".
4. Show the teacher your first name in bright green.

4)  Link Your Khan Academy Account to the College Board

     Prove that you did this, for a signature!:

1. Open the Khan Academy login page in a new tab.
2. Log in.
3. Click your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, then click Settings.
4. Show the teacher your name in the upper right-hand corner of the page, then scroll the page halfway down and show your teacher the button, "Disconnect from CollegeBoard.org".  That's it!

You Did It!   Submit the half-page bearing all four (4) signatures to your teacher.  Receive your reward at the next class meeting.
