First Day Approaching

Welcome back, friends and family of Hamilton!  A happy reminder that our first day of school for 2016-17 is set for Wednesday, August 31 (see calendar below!).

• Gates will open at 8:25 AM.
• Classes will begin at 9 AM.
• August 31 is also a minimum day, so school will end at 2:18 PM.
• Students are expected to be in uniform.

Please note that the "Taking Care of Business Day," which was previously scheduled for Wednesday, August 24, has been cancelled.  Instead, staff have opted to handle the following activities within the first ten days of school:

• Textbook distribution
• Sale of PE uniforms
• ID badge photography

Those 6th graders and 8th-grade WEB leaders involved in our campus WEB orientation need not be concerned; those activities will go forward as planned.

Important Note:  Parents, if your child is not here the first day of school, he or she may lose their place at Hamilton. If you do not plan for your child to return to Hamilton this school year, please contact the main office as soon as possible at 562-602-0302.
