Dress for Success
All students are to wear clothing that appropriately covers their body. Students’ clothing shall not expose private body parts, show undergarments, or contain obscene, illicit images or messages.
School sites have the responsibility to identify and restrict attire that may lead to unsafe conditions. If it is determined that particular clothing is gang related, the school site may prohibit students from wearing the identified attire. - LBUSD Board Policy
- Headgear should be removed upon entering a class. Refusal to do so, especially at the teacher’s request, is defiance and cause for discipline.
- Tops must have straps and cover the stomach.
- Bottoms must be long enough to cover private body parts.
- Overall, no clothing that promotes alcohol, tobacco, drugs, gang affiliation, and nudity should be worn at any time.
